Gifford Monument Works is a family-owned business that has been serving families in Oklahoma and Texas since 1936. Our primary location is at 900 North Broadway, Ada, Oklahoma 74820, with a sales office in Wylie, Texas 75098.

2. Services Description

Gifford Monument Works provides custom monument design, fabrication, and installation services, including:

• Custom granite and stone monuments and headstones
• Cemetery markers and flat markers
• Civic and military memorials
• Pet memorials
• Monument cleaning and restoration
• Final date engraving services
• Porcelain portraits and custom artwork
• Monument repair and resetting

3. Ordering and Payment

3.1 Orders

All monument orders are subject to acceptance by Gifford Monument Works. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Orders are not considered confirmed until we provide written confirmation and receive the required deposit.

3.2 Pricing

All prices quoted are estimates and may be subject to change based on material availability, cemetery requirements, and final design specifications. Final pricing will be confirmed in writing before production begins.

3.3 Payment Terms

We require a deposit to begin work on your monument. The balance is due upon completion and before installation. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. We also offer layaway and financing options for qualified customers.

3.4 Cancellation and Refunds

Custom monuments are made to order and cannot be returned. If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the stage of production. Deposits may be non-refundable once production has begun.

4. Design and Approval Process

Before fabrication begins, we will provide you with a design proof for your review and approval. It is your responsibility to carefully review all text, dates, spelling, and design elements. Once you approve the design in writing, we cannot be held responsible for errors that were present in the approved proof.

Design revisions are available, though excessive revisions may incur additional fees. We retain the right to display completed monuments in our portfolio, gallery, and marketing materials unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.

5. Production and Delivery

5.1 Timeline

Standard monument production typically takes 4-6 weeks from final approval, depending on the complexity of the design and material availability. Custom designs may take up to 6 months. Rush orders may be available for an additional fee, subject to availability.

5.2 Installation

Installation is included in our pricing for monuments within our service area (Oklahoma and North Central Texas). Installation scheduling depends on cemetery availability, weather conditions, and other factors. We coordinate directly with cemeteries to ensure compliance with their regulations.

5.3 Cemetery Requirements

Many cemeteries have specific requirements regarding monument size, style, and installation. It is your responsibility to verify cemetery regulations before placing an order. We will assist you in this process, but we are not responsible for monuments that do not comply with cemetery rules if you did not provide accurate information.

6. Warranty

We stand behind our craftsmanship and provide a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Natural granite is a product of nature and may contain natural variations, veining, or minerals that are not considered defects. Normal weathering, vandalism, acts of God, or damage caused by improper maintenance or third parties are not covered under warranty.

7. Website Use

7.1 Online Tools

Our website provides various tools including a monument calculator, design tools, and AI-assisted features. These tools are provided for informational and planning purposes only. Prices and designs generated by online tools are estimates and not binding quotes.

7.2 Account Information

If you create an account or submit information through our website, you are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your information and the confidentiality of any access credentials.

7.3 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use our Website for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with or disrupt the Website, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or data.
